Hello and welcome to our shop! I’m Brandon Powell, owner and tattoo artist at The Tattoo Shop Downtown. I built this shop from the ground up with one goal in mind: create quality tattoos in an environment where people feel respected, comfortable, heard, and safe.

Tattooing, to me, is more than just putting ink in skin. It’s telling a story, undergoing a therapy session, showing some rebellion, helping you with some needed healing, and expressing your unique identity to the world, all rolled into one. Every piece I do is treated with intention—whether it’s a small, meaningful tattoo or a full custom design. I take pride in clean linework, solid composition, and ensuring each tattoo fits the person wearing it, not just referencing some image.

Beyond tattooing, this shop exists to give people opportunity and hope. I believe in second chances, growth, and helping others turn their passion into something real.
